Agave isthmensis f. mediopicta alba: This Agave has blue-green leaves, large, white mid-stripes and long, coppery terminal spines. This variety needs lots of sunlight a great drainage to thrive, but will stay small (under about 5.0" wide). This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.
Agave need plenty of full, outdoor sunlight and drainage to thrive. They do well in well draining soil and pots with drainage holes. Over time you'll see new offsets or "pups" sprout up within the leaves of the mother plant.
Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is not frost hardy and needs protection from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
