The Pineapple plant, scientifically known as Ananas comosus, is a tropical perennial in the Bromeliaceae family that features vibrant green leaves which mimic the iconic pineapple's crown. Grow your own edible pineapple at home! 

Care: Thrives in bright light to full sun conditions. Not suited for low light areas. South & West facing windows ideal, and consider grow lights in Fall/ Winter.

Water every 1-2 weeks allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions. Thrives best in higher humidity conditions but can tolerate normal room humidity.
